Description
Adèle and Elsa Matrot, two sisters, today manage the family estate known as Domaine Matrot. The sisters have worked tirelessly alongside their parents to continue the family legacy since assuming more prominent roles in 2011. Each fruit is hand-harvested to guarantee quality and proper development, and the chardonnay vineyards used to make this wine are typically 35 years old. They are then put into oak barrels to ferment for a full year after being squeezed with a pneumatic press and decanted for a whole day.
