This Jameson whiskey is a high-end blended Irish whiskey made from a blend of quality grain and pot still whiskeys. It has a deep, nuanced character since it is aged for at least eighteen years in carefully chosen American and European oak casks, frequently ex-bourbon and sherry barrels. Because each bottle is uniquely numbered and offered as a Limited Edition, collectors will find it to be a unique option.
To get the smooth, distinctive flavor for which Jameson is renowned, the whiskey is triple distilled. To improve its flavor profile, it is aged in fresh oak or ex-bourbon barrels for a minimum of six months. It usually comes in a 750ml bottle, while some areas may receive 700ml bottles. It is bottled at 40% ABV, with occasional editions at 46%. It smells deliciously like wood, oils, spicy toffee, and dried fruits like apricots and raisins.
With flavors of fudge, toffee, vanilla, spice, wood, leather, and a faint hint of sherry, it has a smooth and mellow palate. Wood, spice, and toffee aromas are present in the lengthy, lingering aftertaste. The master blender’s greatest choice, it is best consumed neat or over a single huge ice cube. It has been awarded Double Gold medals and received 95 points from Wine Enthusiast.
