Duckhorn Vineyards, a winery renowned for its rich winemaking heritage in Napa Valley, California, creates this sophisticated Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine, which is mostly made from Cabernet Sauvignon with a hint of Merlot and Cabernet Franc for balance, is robust, complex, and full-bodied. It comes in a conventional 750ml bottle with an alcohol content of about 14.5%, though this can vary somewhat according on the vintage.
In 1978, they started making Cabernet Sauvignon by combining grapes from their estate vineyards and a few of the best Napa Valley growers. Fruit from valley floors and mountain slopes is included, adding remarkable richness and personality. Blackberries, cassis, and plums are among the wine’s dark fruit characteristics, which are expertly blended with oak, vanilla, spice, and faint tobacco or chocolate undertones.
